The drawing room of this sixth form boarding house was dark, dreary and unused by the boarders. Our brief was to create a space that they would want to use for both work and relaxing. The room spans across two boarding houses and has a central partition wall for when they want their own individual space. The brief was to create an area where they could sit and relax, watch movies, work, play games and they also asked for a table tennis/pool table. We have tried to keep some individuality in each space whilst having a cohesive design when the partition is open.
