The client wanted to create a work/chill space for the sixth formers in this old classroom with an 8 week turnaround! We uitlised the existing work bench along the back of the room and then created zones for seating in the main area. We had a meeting with some of the sixth formers to find out what they would like from the space which was: chaise sofas, fluffy rugs, cushions and throws, moveable seating, an area to display art, plants and a space to doodle/display photos etc. we managed to tick off all of the above in creating this design and installed before the start of the new school year.
